Ever wanted to tell your own 3D monster story? To do this you will need some 3D evil monsters, but they are not hard to find at DAZ. The question is where do you put them?
I would put them in a forest. There is nothing more magical, mysterious, and frightening then the forest for your 3D characters, when making an exciting fantasy scene.
The forest is always the place where either the hero finds some kind of mystical help, or doom, in most fairy-tales.
Forests block our view from knowing what is lurking inside. In the real world monsters do dwell there. Not the kind that have magical powers, but those that have super human ones: like bears, lions, and wolves.
In the days when the first fairy tales were conceived, such creatures did exist in the thick woods that surrounded European villages, and still exist in North America forests today. Thus it is always valid to start your 3D evil monsters tale in and around the deep and dark forest.
Creating such a place for your 3D characters is not that hard. In DAZ Studio, or Carrara, there are ways of loading entire preset scenes that will create for you in seconds the enchanted forest of your dreams 3D model plants.
All you have to do is go through the vast 3D content library and select the 3D evil monsters you want to add to your forest scene, and hit the render button, and then you are done.
On the other hand, you might want to create your own specific forest, which is often the case because you will be telling a specific tale. Right?
This is easy too. There are many different kinds of trees to select from, and just as easy to add and manipulate on the virtual stage in DAZ Studio as you are building your personal forest.
The question is what kind of story is important to tell? In this case you have to listen to your heart. Every fairy tale has at least a moral or an ethical point, or a warning for the viewer. We have to be able to relate to it.
Just because you are creating a tale that has 3D evil monsters in it with your 3D animation studio does not mean we won't be able to emotionally relate to a deeper meaning. A virtual reality simulator can carry emotion.
Creating a sense of justice works well, or a story of the hero who manages to overcome certain dangers and turns the monster in the dark forest back into the handsome prince, overcoming his symbolic demons, etc.
